After Macau -- HK!

I could never get enough of Hong Kong even if it's me and my sister's second time to visit. For my friend Khay and his nephew, it was their first but we did not mind going back to Ngong Ping 360. We woke up early so we can take our breakfast before heading out to Jordan MTR station on the red line. Transferred to the Tung Chung Line (yellow) then went down to Tung Chung. The Citygate Outlet malls looked inviting but we decided to go straight to the bus heading to Ngong Ping.

We suggested to my friend that we take the bus going up since there it offered a different view compared to the cable car. The ride was just a little over 30 mins but it was relaxing.

When we got there it seems like we have never been to the place, like it was also our first time to explore it. The weather was good since it was not that sunny. The place was so cool. I enjoyed the statue warriors a lot.

The way up to the Big Buddha was more tiring than I remembered it. Maybe because I gained a lot of weight since my first visit more than a couple of years back. Nevertheless the climb was worth it. It was like we were in the clouds because of the fog.

The village at the foot of the Big Buddha did not change much. The 'petition tree' was still there. and the structures were still the same except for the new 'A Monkey's Tale' character that livened up the look of the place.

We did not stay long at Ngong Ping because we wanted to have a quick look the outlet stores at Citygate Outlet Malls before heading to Disney! Here's the view from our cable car on our way down.
